Dr. Manjunath MN
A senior orthopedic surgeon's personal practice site that converts.
The Brief
The challenge
Dr. Manjunath is a senior orthopedic surgeon with 22 years of clinical experience. His digital presence — a generic WordPress site — undersold his expertise and ranked behind hospitals that referred him work.
The site loaded slowly on mobile networks, had no appointment booking, and lacked depth on the conditions he specializes in (joint replacement, sports injuries, complex spine surgery).
We were asked to build a personal practice site that feels editorial, ranks well locally, and turns visitors into consultations.
The Solution
How we built it
Design
We designed an editorial system with trust-first typography and photography-led layouts. Bilingual content support (Kannada + English) was built into the design tokens from day one, and the layout adapts naturally to RTL when needed.
Engineering
Built on Next.js 14 App Router with server components for fast first paint. The condition library lives in Sanity CMS so the practice manager can add content without touching code. Appointment requests route to WhatsApp Business API with a custom state machine to handle confirmations.
Launch
Deployed to CloudFigma hosting on launch day. AutoSSL configured, sitemap submitted to Google Search Console, and structured data validated. Lighthouse 100 across all four categories.
